Alik Doern, Clifford Chance

Alik works as a lawyer at the international law firm Clifford Chance. He specialises in European and German public procurement law, state aid law, administrative law and real estate law.

He mainly advises clients from the pharmaceuticals, energy and telecommunications sector as well as public and private utilities, waste disposal enterprises, special purpose associates on public private partnerships (PPP).

He also advises the German government and German federal states as well as numerous districts and local municipal entities and their (partly) privatised units and undertakings. He represents local governments and tenderers in review proceedings before public procurement tribunals and High Courts. In turn, he counsels further on the preparation and co-ordination of award procedures.

He is - inter alia - a permanent co-author for the German legal journal "Vergaberecht" (public procurement law).
