3.1 The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
3.2 All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the PLAN Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
3.3 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the PLAN Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
4.1 We use information held about you in the following ways:
4.1.1 To ensure that content from the PLAN Website is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.
4.1.2 To facilitate the administration and operation of the PLAN Website and to ensure the information is kept up to date.
4.1.3 To allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so.
4.1.4 To notify you about changes or other matters relating to the PLAN Website.
4.2 We will use and process the personal data you supply only for the purpose of maintaining and operating the database. The data you submit shall be used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords if you forget your current one) and for being contacted by the administrators. It will not be disclosed to any third party. However, we cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data you have submitted being compromised.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
