Recently Dr. Xinglin Zhang obtained a funding from the Ministry of Education of P.R.China to conduct a research project on how to construct a GPA-compliance domestic review system. This research aims to help China, who is currently negotiating its GPA accession with other GPA parties, to develop a domestic review system that is compatible with the GPA rules on domestic review procedures. For this purpose, this research will first examine and analyze the GPA provisions on domestic review procedures and then look at how the major GPA parties (such as US, Japan, Hong Kong, China) bring their domestic review systems to comply with the GPA requirements on domestic review, and finally discuss how China reforms its current domestic review system, to comply with the GPA requirements on domestic review procedures.
