Welcome to the Procurement Law Academic Network
The PLAN Network – Procurement Law Academic Network – is a permanent global network of academics (professors, researchers etc) interested in public procurement law and regulatory policy. The Network welcomes members working in any relevant discipline e.g. law, economics, business management, public policy and political science.
Membership of PLAN and access to its facilities are FREE and are open to all who meet the relevant criteria.
Through the Network members can:
- make contact with other academics working in the public procurement field from all over the world;
- publicise their research, conferences etc to the global community; and
- learn of other research and events in the public procurement field.
The Procurement Law Academic Network is currently maintained and financed by the Public Procurement Research Group, University of Nottingham, with the assistance of sponsorship funds from the Achilles Group.
The Network was originally established through the European Commission’s Asia Link Programme, as part of the project for an EU-Asia Inter-university Network for Teaching & Research in Public Procurement Regulation (Jan 2008-Jan 2011). The project consortium was led by the University of Nottingham (UK); other consortium members were Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), University of Copenhagen (Denmark), Central University of Finance and Economics (China), University of Malaya (Malaysia) and Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics (China).
